Life With Dogs at Blog Paws 2010
When I first heard of Blog Paws, I was curious. Anything blog related is of interest, but a conference specific to pet bloggers is something I'd never seen elsewhere. I considered attending, got caught up in the daily grind, and promptly forgot about it.
When Blog Paws was kind enough to offer me a free pass to the event, I seriously considered attending. Many of our blog pals will be there, and this seemed like the perfect way to catch up with as many of them as possible without touring the country. Life got in the way, I became distracted, and began to doubt that I would be able to make the trip due to a hectic April schedule.
When Pedigree offered to sponsor my entire trip to Blog Paws, I pooped a little with excitement. Fortunately I was carrying a bag.
Perhaps I exaggerate slightly. Only I and my shorts know.
I can't wait for the chance to share what I find - there are a lot of hot topics for bloggers, and if you can't make it, I'm happy to be your eyes and ears. Watch for event coverage in future posts. If I don't pop in for a visit this week forgive me, I have a lot crammed into a few days and not enough time to get to it all.
If you are anywhere near Columbus, Ohio I'd love to catch up. Drop me a line at lifewithdogs@ymail.com
Many thanks to Blog Paws and Pedigree for enticing me until I could not resist! See you there...or here when I return...

Very cool! I'm sure your wife is shaking her head about the poop comment.
ReplyDeleteVery good...very good - we have a large collection of poop bags if you happen to need some to help you through the event. Could be pretty exciting there! Just let us know we will send them Greyhound express. (In other words could get there really fast...maybe...if they feel like it and in between naps.)

ReplyDeleteI hopes you have a super duper terrific time. I would sure like to come. I thinks Collie-rado is only 30 minutes from that Ohio place but I'll have to ask mom.
Wiggles & Wags,

Darned shame you aren't driving... I would have met up with you and sent you back to VT with some of Southeastern Ohio's finest stuff... Like some home canned venison, homemade mustard, deer jerky, home canned "V-8" juice, green beans, AND a very special libation that also comes in a Mason Jar!!! I don't believe you could fly with any of that stuff... esp. the last one!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW sure sound like a GREYT time. Wish I wasn't on the other side of the country I would love to come and sniff butts with you. Guess I will have to settle for Nigel's recap of events.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to say the least a Pet Conference - Wouldnt it be nice to take the dogs too!!!
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud in my little corner of America at the 'poop' comment! And when you typed your shorts, I couldnt believe you made that statement - only a 'man' could do it!!!!
It sounds like a lot of fun. Can't wait to hear all about it.

This is fantastic! Have a great time and we'll be waiting to hear all the poop- Oops, I mean all the scoop!
ReplyDeleteBlog Mom is both jealous and thrilled. She's always wanted to go to a Blogger conference, but right now she can't go anywhere far because Daddy might need her. She also has no good excuse to go off and leave me, either, because she just blogs for fun. So that's the jealous part, but she's thrilled because she knows you'll tell us all about it. She says, please to bring back lots of details.
ReplyDeleteWags, Lola
