Snatched from the Jaws of Death: Dog Saved One Hour Before Euthanasia

Deeply affecting. One of the more powerful videos I've seen in the past few weeks.

  5. I got a dog from the local Humane Society once. They told me that she'd been there for awhile already. I knew that they euthanized pets that had been there a certain amount of time. My dog stayed longer than most which makes me think that she and I were destined for one another.

This video made me sad because of how scared poor Edie was. I wish the video would've said what happened to her. I'm guessing she was taken back to the shelter.

  6. Right. So now I TOTALLY have to redo my makeup.

I hadn't seen this before- just tweeted it... This makes me want to jump up & down and say "See? See?!! These dogs deserve a chance, they just need some compassion!"

We *need* to stop overburdening our shelters so the pups that ARE there stand a chance. We need to adopt, adopt, adopt- stop buying puppy mill "product," put the farmers out of business...

I feel a rant coming on.

    Thanks for sharing this :)
