Busted: One Seriously Crappy Neighbor

What do you do when you suspect that your neighbor is flinging dog poo into your shrubs? You film him and sell him out. Bonus point if you count the number of dumps. The homeowner was considerate enough to wait an entire year before releasing the video. Oh enough from me already, watch this - and make sure you hear the commentary!

  2. I just love how the offender waited until the homeowners back was turned to dump his bag of poo! really, what was this guy thinking?

Wow. This is one time that human behavior fascinated me more than dog behavior. fascinating. i think the videographer/victim was very smart, calm and thoughtful in how to deal with it. Not too many people would be quite that tolerant. I know i'm not. kudos to the videographer /victim for being more human the the idiot.

  5. Unbelievable! We have a neighbour who regularly lets his dog poo in our garden and I have thought of gathering it up and putting it on their front doorstep. Like the guy in the video though you have to think of what will happen then.
I did once offer him a poo bag and he told me 'if you know what is good for you you will mind your own business!'
On balance I decided he is a nasty guy and best avoided.

  6. How rude! He has it in a bag, so he's just too lazy to carry it home? I would have delivered it back to the guy with a note saying "I think this belongs to YOU"!

  9. Ah, Think of how many more jerks in the world there are like this, sigh......

  10. That's such a horrible jerky thing to do! The guy was really nice with the outcome, especially with waiting a year after they moved to post the video. I don't think I would be that nice. He probably was unstable and it probably was a smart move just to tell the third party.

I've been cursed out by one neighbor before. My dogs only touch the curb grass and she yelled at me for letting my dog pee on the grass. It wasn't even in front of her house, it was a neighbors 2 doors down. I explained to her that the town owns the curb grass and we were still following the town ordinances. The funny thing, across the street from her is a neighbor whom she's friendly with. This person lets her 3 small dogs go everywhere and she just carries around a bag just for show, she never picks up. So she smiles and waves at her, but shoots me dirty looks. I just smile and wave. Reminds me of the saying "The more people I meet the more I like my dog."

  11. The man who made this video is one thousand times nicer than I am! No way would I have waited a year to post that gem. I love that he got the guy cleaning it up on the camera, too!

  12. We see that happen a lot in our neighborhood too. We see dropped bags all along our route. Why is it they can take the time to pick it up and bag it, but can't carry it home. Stupid peeps.

  13. Okay, I occasionally toss the crap from my yard into my neighbor's, I do. Don't judge. I'm not an @$$. Our dog yard is on the edge of the properety line - next to 72 wild and empty acres. When I first overshot with my lack of shovel launching skills, I apologized only to learn that our neighbor doesn't care. I have been given the freedom of not having to worry about an accurate toss.

Now in this situation, on the other hand... Had I been the recipient of such a disgusting and deliberate act, I'd be hiding in the bushes with my camera and a pile of poo, eager to see the look on his face as the crap launched right back at him, sans the bag!

OMD I loved the security check and the fact that the idiot was afraid of his wife. Got a better one for you. Our back yard reeked of dog poo and we couldn't stay out there for a minute. We were wondering why for years until we saw it! Our neighbor with the 5 L to XL dogs was using his scooper to clean up his yard and then to toss it over our fence. When confronted he said that if we looked at the city plans we'd see that that part of our yard where he threw the poop was "his". He then calmly asked us how to dispose to the poo properly.

  16. WHOA. That's UNBELIEVEABLE! LOL My neighbors used to walk their dog to crap on my front parking strip, so I bagged it left it on their porch! After I took a plastic bag out to the son who was taking the dog out, it stopped!

    Some people have NERVE.
