Wild Dogs, Pt. 2

If you missed yesterday's post, please start here for context. These are the pictures that floored me when they came together. Enjoy our walk on the wild side.

SOLA

The mighty huntress. Fearless, fierce and strong. Aside from a near color match I know my seventy pound Labrador does not truly resemble a mighty Lioness. But she has that king of the jungle moxie, and she would lay down her life to protect her family. Soon I will capture her roar on video and extinguish any doubt. She's the family beast.

TRUFFLES

Now that I see it for myself, it's not much of a stretch!  She loves to emit low, rumbling growls. She snores loudly to announce her hibernation practice sessions. She's large, and huggable. And one day a few years ago, she almost met the real thing. Seeing her transformed, I'm fairly confident she's ready to take on Mr. Jingles. And I'll never look at her the same way again.

I hope you and your beasts are well this Friday. Enjoy the weekend!

I don't believe Truffles was ever a lab! This looks like the exact same picture as her in the kitchen the other day.

Of course Stumpy got her treat!

  4. Excellent morphing!

BTW, that was some great video of the bear on your porch. I know I wouldn't have been able to hold the camera that steady! Have you since installed iron bars on your windows?

  9. A bear was my pick for Chester also but I had no idea the match would look so perfect when put together. He also emits the low rumbling and snores so loud you have to turn the TV volume up.

Sola looks perfect as the huntress. All 4 of your Wild Dog pics are masterpieces - Photoshop in it's finest! Well done!

LOL @ Coco-ya gotta give the girl credit, she's persistent!!!

    Happy Friday-LWD!

  10. I just had to come back after watching that bear video. That was beyond cool-of course, watching from inside was even beyond cooler.
Again, the resemblance is uncanny as it looked identical to Chester as he counter surfs!

Truffles fits the bear perfectly...if the picture was up w/o words I'd say it was 100% brown bear.

  20. Shamus, our Newfoundland, is often likened to a pony, a horse, and sometimes, when he's a little gassy in front of guests, he can be the 100 pound gorilla in the room that nobody wants to address.

    See what I mean?

  21. Wonderful transformations!
    I didn't recognize Truffles.

  22. I bet you can show these two pictures to a lot of people, and they wouldn't even realized they'd been photoshopped. ESPECIALLY Truffles the Bear!

  27. What can I say, I was inspired yesterday, partially because I liked the concept and partially because I really do get compared to a deer and a bug myself like Nigel... I had to copy you today. Check it out and see what you started.

  28. Buddy Wilson epitomizes the Grizzly Bear. When he is playing with other dogs he will open his extremely large mouth in the face of his playmate and making the guttural roar. For such a gentle young man it really catches you off guard, and believe me when you are looking directly into that menacing face the last thing that goes through your mind is that he is a gentle little boy!!

  29. Okay, we've finally figured it out. We wondered why Nigel has such a mouth on him but he's a gazelle. Aha! He can hop around with his hoof in mouth because he's protected by a lion and a bear. So without they he'd be a Milquetoast?

  30. I can see getting a lion and bear suit for the Halloween costumes. But where do you get a stink bug costume?

  31. Oh Nigel..you wild animal you...
