Five Reasons

Five reasons Nigel wants you to see him standing in front of a fence:

1. Good fences make good neighbors, and Nigel is not a good neighbor.

2. There is a junkyard dog feel that he particularly cherishes.

3. He likes his ladies with a bit of junk in the trunk. See # 2.

4. Cool things come through the gate, things like UPS drivers and groceries and dog food and slow, fat cats.

5. The toughness factor. It would appear as though he is protecting something. He has no idea the fence is protecting him.

Please do not tell him.

  15. We'll let Nigel keep his illusion. As for Kess, she has jumped over 6 foot fences so that white fence will not protect her ;-)

P.S. I know my post on the abandoned dogs was disturbing. To-date 8 dogs have been rescued, with efforts continuing. There is public outcry over this atrocious act. Let's hope something like that never repeats.

  25. Our fence is for our own good too, I suppose. Especially since we have big old deer and coyotes and fisher cats. Now all that gets into our yard are rabbits.

You can also put a fierce beware of doggie sign up and everybody will know what a rough guy you are.
