We're craving summer, and this pic does the trick. If you look closely you can see an arc of water from Truffles swinging her tail. She had just stepped out of the pond. I have no idea why she looks like she just saw Bigfoot.
A quick thanks to our friends at K-9 Health Solutions for
giving us a nod. Let's hope their readers don't suffer from shock when they arrive here and see just how foolish we are :)
Yup. Summers coming. It was 85 degrees here today. Our dogs wilted after 45 min at the dog park.
ReplyDeleteYou went swimming already???? We haven't even opened up the pool.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Hey, hang in there. It won't be long until you are dock diving in Maine! And I hope you got my email about the dock diving event in New Hampshire. Your dog(s) will love it!!!!
ReplyDeleteHere is a song of summer meant to be sung as a round. I hope you can teach it to your dogs.
ReplyDeleteSummer is a-coming in,
Loudly sing, Cuckoo!
The seed grows and the meadow blooms
And the wood springs anew,
Sing, Cuckoo!
The ewe bleats after the lamb
The cow lows after the calf.
The bullock stirs, the stag farts,*
Merrily sing, Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo, well you sing, cuckoo;
Don't you ever stop now,
Sing cuckoo now. Sing, Cuckoo.
Sing Cuckoo. Sing cuckoo now!
Good luck with it!
Kisses,
Stella
I love me some Fudgepants!!!
ReplyDeleteCool pic!
ReplyDeleteIf you look closely you can see Bigfoots leg in the shadows in the lower left side of the photo.
Maybe she looks like she had just seen Bigfoot because she actually had?!
ReplyDeletePond? Did I hear you say pond??? I'm more than ready to get wet and wild!!
ReplyDeleteThe look on her face tells me that she had maybe got the first glimpse of Mr. Stick lurkin' about in the woods.
Woofs and summer slobbers!
Chester
LOVE the water arc. :) Hope it keeps getting warmer...I am so excited for summer but this morning we woke up to a very light dusting of snow. :( It will be gone by this afternoon though.
ReplyDeleteNala

ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment! What a great blog you have here, I'll add it to my blogroll. Look forward to getting to know your pack of pooches.
ReplyDeleteHope you stop by again,
Sam and Marge
Oh, I have just read through a few of your posts and I haven't laughed this hard in a long time!
ReplyDeleteBut, you really haven't had fun at the vet's until they tell you your 15 month old rescue needs a $3000 operation to install a pace maker or he'll be dead before you can drive him home.
It is great to read a blog about dogs told with SUCH a sense of humor.
Oooooh all that green looks wonderful! We are in the middle of the big snow melt, which also means the big "look at the winter's worth of poo that has created a poo-swamp in the backyard" melt, so some nice green grass sounds like a god send.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great photo. We are hoping for some sunshine.
