Wordless Wednesday, derailed.

So here I am, minding my own business, thinking of the right pic for wordless Wednesday when a new e-mail arrives. Chester's Mom tagged me, so I must go to the fifth folder in my pics, and grab the fifth file.

This lovely lady parked in front of our house one spring and decided to stay a while. We had the pleasure of seeing the little ones grow, and eventually take flight.

A fitting picture for this week. It's a beauty : )

  8. Know the feeling but played by the rules-didn't want to get caught by the Blogger Police. It also pleases me to know that there will be more twisted coming out of your corner of the arena.

  18. What a nice way to think about Spring while all of us are wooing for snow. The baby bipeds brought home bird feeders made from oranges and filled with seed at school today. Hmmmm, wonder where Mom will hang those.

  26. Hmmm. This picture reminds me of something.
I tried to eat the last bird that nested near our deck. Repeatedly. Didn't manage to catch it, but the bird did pack up and move out. Haven't seen one since.

Nice bird! We love to chase and catch birds! And we watch TV, too. When birds come on we bark atthem. Princess has a thing for yellow lab puppies so she barks at them, too. That's a "let's play!" bark.

  49. OMD, what a boootiful & lovely photo! We hope all the little ones remembered their cozy nest infront of your house.

This photo reminds our mom of the bird her family lived together for a very long time. She almost cried. A long ago, when mom was only 15 or so, mom and her mom took their Doberman out for a walk and Doberman found a little bird on the street. This little one fell from the nest and her mommy birdy was flying around her baby. Mom took this little birdy and saved her life. This little one lived for twenty something years with my mom's family. Sorry.. we're kinda sentimental tonight.

We have something for you. Please come by our blog when you have a moment.
