  6. Poor poor dog. What he must have gone through. That is awful. Thank goodness he survived and I pray he finds a wonderful home where he will be loved forever!

  7. It is so frustrating when a loyal and dutiful companion is deemed as 'disposable' like Lucky Dog was. The owners should be arrested for animal abuse.

    Humans created the companion animal and it is our duty to nurture and protect them for they would not be here if it weren't for us.

  9. I will never understand abandoning a pet. Thank you for sharing this heart-tug story. I'm sure many donations will be forthcoming to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue because of Herbie's story. Sure hope he gets the medical attention he needs and finds his forever home.

  11. Thank you for sharing this inspiring story! It is so heartbreaking to think what Herbie must have experienced, but what a trooper to keep on going and loving! Paws crossed that he finds an amazing, warm, and loving forever home. He is a beautiful dog!
