I think its a chocolate thing! Tracker does the same thing very well!! At least he goes and hides though, unlike fudge who is sitting there still licking his lips! HA HA HA! I love it!!
Poor Truffles! She must be freaking starving! And sola, in the background...wagging her tail a million miles an hour...she had nothing to do with this at all!
Is it me, or does Fudge need to go on a... DIET? I know, it's a four-letter word. but seriously... she's looking a little more voluptuous these days! ;)
Obviously, Sola and Truffles just frightened off some marauding tree rats and surely this picture will be in the newspaper tomorrow along with an article celebrating their bravery!
OK brings back memories as I used to have a black and blonde lab before cavaliers. The blonde (pun intended) climbed the counter to help herself to the just laid out thanksgiving turkey. I was not the popular sister that thanksgiving lol!
I am not happy that newspapers are disappearing because I cannot imagine starting a morning without a newspaper...HOWEVER, this blog is quickly becoming a 'morning fix' for me---
This pic...(and all the others) wake me up with huge smiles---
Checked out yesterday's post today (more server probs yesterday waaaahhhhhh) and see that your ruse took hold, Truffles heheh! Good job! And... yummers! Go to! Big Hugs xo Sammie
Thats only about 40 bazillion calories, Ms. Fudgepants, you should start thinking about those things before they have to start carrying you around in a wheelbarrow.
That is a most impressive mess! We haven't seen a mess that good since our foster Pug El Guapo knocked over the trash can.
We also noticed Truffles strongly resembles daddy's wine barrels with legs. There's prolly gonna be some righteous gas around your house tonight! Bahhhh.
I just awarded you the Sunshine Award because you do bring such rays of sunshine into our lives. I hope you'll accept it. Visit my blog for details! http://rescuek9.blogspot.com/
Whoa! Sola licking her chops in the background does not look blameless here! Moose is horrified at this behavior and says ALWAYS no matter what ALWAYS finish what you started! There is no excuse for crumbs left on the floor.
They have guilt written all over their faces... and the crumbs don't help matters! Sometimes, rather than getting upset, you just need to pull out the camera and capture the moment! I've come home to similar destruction on more than one occasion...
I know they didn't do that. I think something got in the house and tried to frame them into going to jail! Probably a squirrel! Maybe a cat! Definitely not them!!!
Woops!!! I think Fudge was needing a snack or two..
ReplyDeleteOh no! I think you are in big trouble. Hope it was worth it :)
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Emma Rose

Yup, when this happens in our house, "I don't know" and "not me" are in big trouble...
ReplyDeleteUh-oh! Caught with the evidence. And still licking chops, too!
ReplyDeleteObviously, Sola and Truffles just frightened off some marauding tree rats and surely this picture will be in the newspaper tomorrow along with an article celebrating their bravery!
ReplyDeleteWe are in awe of any dog that can reach the counter & snag that much. Way to go.
ReplyDeleteLove Ruby & Penny
But........why are there some leftovers?????
ReplyDeleteSCORE! I tip my hat to you. Fine work.
ReplyDeleteFood Drive???
ReplyDeleteI think Nigel is tall enough to counter surf, and devious enough to frame the others. I'm just saying....
ReplyDeleteBusted!
ReplyDeleteOK brings back memories as I used to have a black and blonde lab before cavaliers. The blonde (pun intended) climbed the counter to help herself to the just laid out thanksgiving turkey. I was not the popular sister that thanksgiving lol!

Sammie
Wow, what a mess. Looks like they had a good time, though.
ReplyDeleteGASP! It was THE NINJAS, wasn't it? Oh, those Ninjas are Most Crafty. Sneaking in, making a mess and then leaving you to takes the blame.
ReplyDeleteWiggles & Wags,
Mayzie
Oh Dear, :) I recognise your guilty face, just like mine. Prince x ,woof, good score though.
ReplyDeleteThats only about 40 bazillion calories, Ms. Fudgepants, you should start thinking about those things before they have to start carrying you around in a wheelbarrow.

Stella, Gunther and Betty
OMD, I think I'd just say I walked into the kitchen and found this big mess! Unless you were caught red handed, of course!
ReplyDeleteWell, at least y'all have good taste! All those goodies look yummy.
Did you catch the person that broke in and did that?
ReplyDeleteOh dear.... LOL
ReplyDeleteWhoopsie!!! If we can reach it, it is ours. Yummola

ReplyDeleteSola: go, daddy go!!! mummy, dad is looking for attention again bol.......
Hey Truffles, don't look so guilty - you didn't do it, right?
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
They don't look guilty....they look proud.....
ReplyDeleteThey have guilt written all over their faces... and the crumbs don't help matters! Sometimes, rather than getting upset, you just need to pull out the camera and capture the moment! I've come home to similar destruction on more than one occasion...
ReplyDeleteQuick! Shred some pillows and scatter the fluff to hide the evidence!
ReplyDeleteWe think yoo should become an honoury member of the Norty Kitty Club! (NKC)
ReplyDeleteThis must be a staged photo :-) No self respecting Lab would lever eave behind so many crumbs! Even the bags/boxes would be at risk of consumption!
ReplyDeleteI know they didn't do that. I think something got in the house and tried to frame them into going to jail! Probably a squirrel! Maybe a cat! Definitely not them!!!
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo!!! My kinds of dogs!!! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who tears things up. It's so much fun, but I don't like getting in trouble.
ReplyDeleteWoof Y'all,
T.J.
Did you enjoy it? Hee hee.
