  3. hey,

They look like chocolate to me! Perhaps the fact that your humans have their stinky feet on it could have also ruined the chocolate taste. Blame the humans. You need to get them when they are fresh and new right out of the box.

  4. They had a dog picture on them,so that means you can do whatever you want with them.

  5. Placed at dog level = belongs to dogs. We remind our humans of that rule on a regular basis.

  9. I believe the humans are overstating the worth of those chewtoys!

Me thinks their paws shifted the decimal place fur want of a better story!

  11. At least you're not a cannibal. I notice the 'dogs' on the straps weren't even touched. Good girl.

  12. I "had" a pair of red ones w/ Labs...You want the undamaged (not chewed) flip flop?

We sure do miss you when you take off a few days!

  18. Ha! Juno claims to have caused half that cost in damage in 10 minutes to a Mini Cooper. Life with Dogs needs to keep up with the Jones' (or the Dingos, the Herds, etc...) and add a Sibe to the pack! Booowhahahahah!

  19. The maddest Old Girl ever got at me was when I eated up half of a pair of her bestest "boots." They was deeeelicious.

  20. Um... they have pictures of doggies on them... clearly they were meant for doggies! How can humans be so confused about these things. Like when me and my foster brother teddy played with (and may have broken) the toy basket.... it said 'Toys' right on it so clearly it was meant to be played with!

  21. Our mom said she's still wear them, even with their war wounds. Don't you know to stay away from the good stuff? They did look like they belonged to you though since they had your picture on them.

  22. That will teach you to bypass LL Bean and buy your flip flops at K-Mart! You can find something closer to $11.00!

  23. Come on Truffles, that's still wearable! Do I need to come assist you in your flip-flop demolition frenzy? I'd be more than glad to help.

Pee. Ess. Your engagement collar still looks as lovely on you as the day you first put it on. ♥ ♥ ♥

  24. Certainly since they had little pictures of you on the strap, you we meant to do as you please with those flip-flops... No? Hmm, seems to be a recurring problem by the total! I myself prefer underwear when no human attention is coming my way :)

  26. Now they are perfect! =) Nothing like some chew marks to make your flip flops more comfy!!

  27. Well, you picked some cute ones. Atleast it wasn't the newest ones.
You are so cute sitting in the sun beams!

  28. How nice of your humans to let you play with their shoes.
    Nice picture xxx

  29. They are still fine. Just a little doggie accent. My mom would have been happy if Arrow left her the between the toe part.

  30. Just trying to help air them out with a few extra airholes:)

LL Bean has a great replacement policy - give it a try.

  34. Ouch! Was that a vet bill?

    ReplyDelete
  35. LOL! No, no, just a tally of eaten shoes. :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Haha! Little foster bro Theo learned to target the flipflops right away! But we're guessing it was more than flipflops got you to that bill--way to go, guys!!! :)

During her first month with us, Star started looking like a shoe-holic. She was particularly fond of slippers. We nipped it in the bud with some training, but she still can't resist my fuzzy dog-head slippers (they do look like stuffies), so I keep those up high and out of reach! Bad dogs!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Ha! The chewed shoe looks so familiar...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Chewing is a common habit in puppies. Proper training can help in curbing the bad habits.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Strangely enough Fern had not chewed on a single pair of my shoes. But the cats.... They will chew on anything and they scratch on them too.
