Refractive Reflections

  1. Hey! Looks like you got a spam comment (unless you are planning on dating or starting your own service).

Anyway, regarding those stuffies, ours are typically You Thin Iced due to damages sustained by the pointy headed one.

I wonder if everybody over the bridge is all pretty colors like that.

  2. May the Trout live on with all of the other stuffies so ruthlessly killed by dogs like you. :D

  3. I didn't know stuffies crossed the rainbow bridge. Stumpy will be excited to know that since she is not allowed to have stuffies anymore, in this life. I was afraid the dismembering of the stuffies showed a predilection to serial killing. I didn't want to encourage that.

  4. A very long way for three canines to go to finally get to a bridge of a joke to cross. May the trout me with you....

  5. That's an important question to resolve. Where do trouts go when they die? To the rainbow bridge? Do trouts cross bridges??! Why don't they go UNDER the bridge? I mean, through the water?

Ths is why I prefer chewing walls. They actually never die.

  8. There is nothing like a favorite stuffie. My guys tend to nibble, so we have many fin/tail/armless stuffies that have been sewn back to live a long life.

  9. If that is where dead stuffies go, then a lot of our furiends who reside there must be very happy.

  15. I like cornbread stuffing in my trout, but hardly ever get it. I would never kill it, just eat it.

Why are you guys always in bed, covered up, is it very cold where you live? Are you patients there and require special treatment. I don't get it.

    Kisses,
    Stella

  17. I have sent many of toys, shoes, plants, shirts and wallets over the rainbow bridge. Though I miss my favorite toy a stuffed cow head that would moo three times when I would bite into it. Wait a minute I didn't destroy that toy. "Mommy where is my cow toy?"

  22. Sola: you're amazing. I don't think I've EVER carried any stuffie around for more than a day, much less a year. But then again, I would never have wondered such deep thoughts either. I think stuffies just sort of... disappear... something like my dad's G-L-O-V-E.

  26. I didn't know that stuffies crossed the rainbow bridge either... waiting for their owners perhaps? My dalmatian must be having a grand time then, he killed a ton of 'em!

Tori doesn't kill her stuffies. She likes to play fetch with them. We have to put them up because she wants to play fetch all night long and, um, we really don't. So her stuffies usually live a very long and healthy life.

  30. We are stunned. Shocked. Aghast. Quick, thesaurus. Not at the joke that made us groan, but at the revelation that a stuffie can possible have a life span of a year. We thought you measured their life span with a stopwatch, not a calendar.

  31. Thanks for following my blog. I popped over to visit and immediately fell in love with your blog. I want to hug the pooches. Fantastic. Is there room for one more follower? You certainly have a room full.

And now I know where my old stuffies are, too.

  39. Do we get reunited with our own stuffies or everyone else's and can we kill them again over the bridge, and where do they go THEN? or are they indestructible? Or do they regenerate so we can kill them over and over?

  40. Love these doggie reflections! Glad I found you at Wordless Wednesday this morning ... just because. Thanks for the chuckles ;--)

  44. I LOVED this!!! :) His little rainbow trout stuffy crossed the rainbow bridge. At least he didn't de-stuff it before he sent it on. Minky is determined to get at all stuffy guts. Today's post is about her meeting up with wasps and a crazy woman bearing dog clippers. She keeps me entertained, that one. So do you!
