  3. No shoes for me. Just stinky basketball socks, iphone earbuds, unattended butter, remote controls, blankets, pillows, house plants...
Hey! Why haven't I tried shoes. Hmmmmm. I'll get back to you.

  4. Oh yes! i've chewed lots of shoes, socks and slippers when I was still a pup. Until I finally trained my hoomans to keep them at a place I couldn't reach. For maximum destruction, I have a penchant for chewing only one of each pair.

  5. With a house full of Labs, you bet we've been there! I'm just thankful any shoe-chewing around here happened after my feet were removed.

  6. BOL Yep! I destroyed all of Mum's favorite shoes :) She shouldn't have left them lying around.
    Big licks to you

  7. Oh Truffles - you goofy thing. Couldn't you have at least chewed both of them? That way your mommy would have to toss the whole pair instead of contemplate ways to (um...something negative) with the unchewed one...

  10. Snort! Snort! Heck of a chew job. Congrats to Truffles. Mom's lesson learned: don't leave your chew shoes laying around!

  11. No shoes for Cloud, but he did go through a stage where he quite enjoyed chewing on the original woodwork trim of our previous house, built in 1920. Not cool!

  12. I haven't lost too many shoes, but I did lose a pair of expensive sunglasses to Bouncer when he was a pup.

    I was Not Pleased.

  13. LOL, so not cool. Those shoes are expensive! On the other paw, they are wood and they were left right out in the open. What can one say?

  15. One word: Tassels. There's not enough good to say about a nice shoe tassel. They tickle the taste buds on the way down and I have proven that you can eat just one.

You're right-we are cheaper than kids. I'll never need my own car. You'll never have to pay college tuition and you saw to it early on that I will never bring any grandchildren home for you to raise.

  17. Only one shoe that I can remember, a favourite too, but my fault for not putting it away.

Jana's biggest weakness is her bedding - eveything so far has been shredded.

Underwear seems to be favoured by our little dogs, I won't go into detail as I don't like to wash my dirty linen in public!

  19. Mom could post an entire blog of shoe damage photos. Once I ate dad's leather boot. Seriously. All that they found in the closet were the metal grommets and the rubber sole. Best part of it was... they had no idea how I did it!

Hee hee hee. I have done my job to appease the shoe gods!

  20. Oh yeah. Last summer was Sandlefest In Farrr N.Idaho---our silly momma had about 20 pairs of sandles in a huge basket ON THE FLOOR!! It was a smorgasbord. This morning Hootie did some fine dining on a really expensive bra. Urp! D-lish-eous! Hootie got a time out for that one.BOL. Smooches from pooches,BabyRD & H

  21. Hehe, someone has their legs attached to their body the wrong way around.

Lots of shoes, two mobile phones, a couch, half an encyclopedia and I've chosen to forget the rest of the damage the latest addition to our pack (Biggles) has done.
Those clogs are, no sorry were very funky. Such a shame. Stupid dog!

    only one word will suffice.......

    Yes!

  23. Yeah, but we willingly sacrificed a pair to the Dog Gods. When Lucy (the boxer) was a puppy, hubby gave her his old leather sandals to chew so she wouldn't be lonely. Lucy still has her "Daddy Shoes" at 5 years old and will retrieve them when we ask for them. It's so cute! ♥ ∞

  24. Yup! I often say they may as well eat the money right out of my purse, but they've done that too!
Wow, BTW....you have nearly 300 followers now?? Think I was number 7 or something like that....how do you do it?! And how on earth do you keep up with them all AND do your Facebook? I am astounded!
    Slobbers xx

  25. I read too fast, sleep too little and still can't keep up!

I was hoping someone would offer up a matching clog today, no luck...

  26. I was a two year old girl when I came to my Mom and when you leave the Shelter they give you advices like don't chew shoes, or electrical wires, or sewing machine cords, or iron cords or you will get in trouble.

So I didn't and it was good advices because now I get along furry fine with my Mom, and just chew bonz.

    Kisses,
    Stella

  29. Aw, yes, when we were pups, we loved shoes, any shoes. So Mom always gave us the worn out sneakers that were headed for the trash. They were just great.

No severe damage to shoes here but Frankie made an offering to the Bra Gods last week. We had a strong suspicion he was a boob man.

Would you like a pic of that? Strange thinge is, both sides match. Guess they were equally delicious...

  32. Mac (Labradoodle) loves shoes and can down a pair of underwear in seconds! It doesn't reappear quite as quickly. =)
